A Bit More About Me
I have known I was going to be a teacher since my Kindergarten year! I remember sitting my younger cousins down and teaching them their ABC's and 123's in a make shift classroom in my grandparent's basement. Teaching is a passion of mine and something I enjoy thoroughly. I'm constantly researching new Educational Practices and connecting with Educators around the world. I have been the lead Pedagogy teacher for the last 6 years at Albert Lacombe and I love to bring technology into the classroom to support and enhance student learning.
I have been with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools for the last fourteen years; teaching grades four, one, six, kindergarten, a specialized support classroom and a Learning Support Facilitator.
When I'm not teaching, I spend time with my very supportive and loving husband Dave, and our two boys Parker (age 11) and Brody (age 5). We live for camping in the summer and spending time on the beach and in front of a campfire.
I love watching my boys in their sports cheering them on in the stands during hockey, swimming, soccer, ball and more!
